Dear Friends in Faith and Service,Mount Carmel Guild of Trenton is calling on our brothers and sisters across the Diocese of Trenton, Mission Members, individual donors, and corporate partners to help us restock our Open-Choice Food Pantry. Serving some of the most vulnerable individuals and families in our city, including the unhoused and working poor, our pantry offers dignity through choice, allowing neighbors in need to select the items most useful to them.
Most Needed Items (Perishable and Shelf-Stable):
Pantry Staples- White and Brown Rice
- Coffee, Syrup and Juices
- Canned Peas and Beans
- Pasta and Tomato Sauce
- Oil
- Cereal, Oatmeal and Pancake Mixes
- Boxed Macaroni & Cheese
- Shelf-stable Milk (Evaporated etc.)
- Canned Tuna, Chicken, Sardines
- Peanut Butter and Jelly
- Protein/granola bars
- Vienna Sausages
- Trail Mix, Dried Fruits
- Crackers & Cheese/Peanut Butter Packs
- Small Bottled Water & Juice Boxes
- Canned Yams, Collard Greens
- Plantain Chips, Dry Plantains
- Haitian Spices (Epis, Maggi, etc.)
- Maseca (corn flour for tortillas)
- Hot Sauces, Sofrito, Adobo, Creole Seasonings
- Dry Soup Mixes (Ramen, Cup Noodles etc.)
- Toilet Paper, Paper Towels
- Diapers (all sizes) & Baby Wipes
- Feminine Hygiene Products
