Walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations at CURE Arena, skating center
Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes announced that COVID-19 vaccinations without an appointment are being offered next week at the following County vaccination sites:
CURE Insurance Arena, 81 Hamilton Ave., Trenton, in partnership with Capital Health
• Tuesday, May 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Moderna
• Wednesday, May 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Moderna
• Thursday, May 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Johnson & Johnson (single dose)
• Friday, May 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Moderna
• Saturday, May 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Moderna
The Moderna vaccine requires a second dose. To receive the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, you must be 18 years of age or older. Registration in the New Jersey Vaccine Scheduling System is encouraged but not required.

• Friday, May 21, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Moderna and Pfizer
The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines require a second dose. To receive the Moderna vaccine, you must be 18 years of age or older. To receive the Pfizer vaccine, you must be 12 years of age or older. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration in the New Jersey Vaccine Scheduling System is encouraged but not required.

Gov. Phil Murphy on Wednesday signed an executive order implementing the additional easing of COVID-19 restrictions in New Jersey that he announced last week. The changes take effect Wednesday, May 19, and include removal of all percentage capacity limits for indoor and outdoor businesses, and houses of worship; an end to the outdoor gathering limit; and an increased indoor large venue capacity.

Through a partnership with Lyft, United Way and NJ 211 are providing free or discounted rides to vaccination sites wherever Lyft services are available. The transportation program, known as Ride United, is open to all, including people with collapsible wheelchairs and walkers, and personal aides can ride along. Dial 2-1-1 to schedule a ride to a vaccination site or text your ZIP code to 898-211 for assistance.

As efforts continue to vaccinate homebound individuals, anyone who has not yet connected with their local health department or a home health agency and needs an in-home vaccination can make a request at covid19.nj.gov/homeboundvax or can contact the N.J. Vaccine Call Center at 1-855-568-0545. The New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) will assist in connecting them with a vaccine provider.
