Job Opening: Director of Community Services

Mount Carmel Guild of Trenton Seeks Director of Community Services

The Mount Carmel Guild of Trenton is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and creative self-starter with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills for the position of Director of Community Services. The position is full-time with benefits, reports to the Executive Director, and has a mid-June 2019 start date.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, and improving the Guild’s community programs consistent with strategic planning, as well as extending and promoting them to the Trenton-area community.

In addition, the candidate should have the following experience and/or skills:

  • Managing, training staff/volunteers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, data systems, e.g., HMIS or similar
  • Ability to develop/post website content, understand the use of Social Media and other marketing tools in promoting community programs
  • Ability to make presentations and represent the Guild to the public
  • Assessing, evaluating, counseling care-receivers
  • Familiarity with food pantry operations

Other requirements include an MSW or Bachelor’s degree with five years’ relevant experience.
