The Community of Trenton and Mercer County can depend on the Guild’s Community Support Food Distribution Program to be open mornings Monday through Friday from 9:30 - 11:30 am. Our census ranges from 50 to over 100 households daily and we assist other organizations with their food needs. The dedicated staff works hard to continuously respond to the growing and changing needs of our care receivers.
Food drives organized by volunteers from churches, civic groups, schools and neighborhoods have been a successful part of the program these past 100 days. Please support them or consider organizing your own to keep our pantry stocked. Contact Patricia O’Neill at [email protected] for additional information or call 609.392.5159.
We are happy to report that the 35 patients in our Home Health Nursing Program are remaining well!
Each patient receives phone calls from their nurse checking in on physical needs, medication, mental well-being and safety. The nurses remain in frequent contact with doctor's office and families. Social distancing continues but plans are in place for seeing patients in their homes over the next few weeks.
